Spring Park Playground Renovation
Renovations are planned for Spring Park, a City of Raleigh neighborhood park, located at 1422 Collegeview Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27606. Improvements will center around a renovated playground for 2-5 and 5-12 year-olds, including new equipment, rubberized safety surfacing, and a graded slope. Other updates to Spring Park will include a new accessible park entrance and pathways connecting to the playground.
Preliminary planning and design has been completed, and we want input from the community on playground design preferences! Below you will find two unique concepts, showing different play elements and color schemes. Your feedback will influence the final design of the playground! Construction is anticipated in Spring 2023.

Option 1: Slides & Climbing
This design focuses on a few large play elements, with slides that follow the slope of the playground, along with an integral rop climbing feature, interactive play elements, and an open play area at the bottom of the playground.

Option 2: Spinning & Creative Play
This design features a number of smaller elements, including a rope climbing feature along the slope, musical elements, a playhouse, two smaller slides, and a spinning feature.
