Neuse River Park Master Plan - Design Alternatives Survey
Neuse River Park Master Plan - Design Alternatives Survey
Based on community feedback recieved so far, we have generated two "alternative concepts" for how Neuse River Park could be developed. Click to view Concept 1 "Ridgeline" and Concept 2 "Cascade." For more information and context about these design alternatives, visit the project summary here.
The purpose of this 5-10 minute survey is to explore the pros and cons of each alternative concept. Your feedback will guide us as we refine these alternatives and move toward a final park master plan. Thank you for taking time to complete this survey. The City and the Design Team look forward to collaborating with you!
Note: This concept alternatives survey closes Monday, March 18, 2024. There will be additional opportunites for input as this project progresses!
Within the estimated budget, please select which distinctive park elements from the different concept alternatives you believe should receive funding.
Each concept includes fundamental park elements that provide a functional and well-rounded park experience. These core features consist of river access improvements, paths, restroom facilities, trash receptacles, benches, bike racks, parking, gathering areas, habitat enhancements and improved ecosystem services, lighting, signage and wayfinding, and utilities.
For this exercise, the core features are already included. Please mix and match to select what you believe should be included with the remaining budget!
Total Budget: $100 or 100%
Core Features: $60 or 60%
Remaining Budget: $40 or 40%
If there is any remaining budget left after these elements are selected, the planning team would use that to enhance the core features of the park.
The core features of this project will include enhancements along the bank of the Neuse River.
