The request would rezone the properties from residential to mixed use districts. This would allow for additional commercial uses in certain circumstances. The request would also increase the allowed height from three to four stories on both sites. The application includes conditions that would limit commercial uses on the site to be zoned CX-4-CU so that the allowed uses match the RX district. The one exception would be an allowance for the development of a hotel on the site requested for CX zoning.
