Neuse River Park: Community Advisory Group
Neuse River Park: Community Advisory Group
We are excited to work with the community to create a Neuse River Park Master Plan that reflects the unique needs and desires of local residents. To facilitate this process, Raleigh Parks is proposing the creation of a Community Advisory Group (CAG). This group will work in partnership with city staff and professional consultants to ensure that the park design and elements meet the specific needs and preferences of the community. We welcome your input and look forward to collaborating with you on this exciting project!
The application period to complete CAG Questionnaire has been extended - the deadline to submit the form is now Monday, July 31, 2023.
Purpose and Authority of the CAG
The purpose of the Neuse River Park CAG is to represent community interests and validate and report design recommendations to Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board (PRGAB) for review. The proposed Master Plan will be presented to City Council for approval, along with the Board's recommendation.
Note: CAG membership is a volunteer-based position.
